Alexander Navarro Roldán is project management graduate candidate with multidisciplinary experience at the intersection of clinical research, health systems, and scientific applications of advanced technologies, including those related to radiological and nuclear domains in medicine. Over more than a decade at the Neurosciences Group of Antioquia (GNA), he has coordinated complex Phase I–III clinical trials, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, traceability, and operational control in studies involving advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Mr. Navarro holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundación Universitaria María Cano, complemented by technical training in pharmacy and nursing support, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Management at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. This combination of administrative, clinical, and technical competencies enables him to support research environments where precision, safety, and regulatory rigor are essential—particularly in contexts involving medical technologies that may include radiological components. His professional work includes oversight of pharmaceutical management, clinical protocol implementation, quality assurance processes, and regulatory coordination under standards aligned with Good Clinical Practice and national health authorities. He has contributed to the secure handling of investigational products, data integrity systems, and institutional procedures that underpin safe clinical research operations, including studies relevant to neurological diseases where advanced imaging and radiological techniques are frequently employed. In academia, Mr. Navarro serves as a lecturer in toxicology at the University of Antioquia, delivering both theoretical and practical training on emergency response, exposure management, and risk mitigation for hazardous substances—competencies closely related to radiological preparedness and public health protection frameworks. He has also participated in international research collaborations on neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, working with institutions such as Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital. His contributions include coauthorship of peer-reviewed publications addressing clinical neuroscience, genetics, and population health, fields that increasingly rely on advanced imaging and molecular techniques. Beyond his clinical and academic roles, Mr. Navarro contributes to science outreach as a volunteer with the Colombian Nuclear Network, supporting initiatives that promote the peaceful applications of nuclear science and radiation technologies in medicine, energy, industry, and environmental protection. Through his integrated experience in research management, health sciences, and technological systems, Mr. Navarro brings a safety-oriented, multidisciplinary perspective to scientific initiatives involving complex technologies, risk management, and evidence-based innovation in nuclear and radiological applications.
