NOTCH Signaling Mission
Mission Statement
Not yet specified.
Aims & Scope
Our community provides an interdisciplinary platform for advancing research on the multifaceted roles of NOTCH signaling in development, tissue homeostasis, and disease. Our scope encompasses fundamental, translational, and clinical studies that explore the molecular mechanisms, regulatory pathways, and therapeutic applications of NOTCH signaling across biological systems.
We welcome, but are not limited to, submissions in the following areas:
- Canonical and non-canonical NOTCH signaling pathways in cellular differentiation, organogenesis, and regeneration
- The role of NOTCH signaling in neurobiology, vascular dementia, and neuroinflammation
- The impact of NOTCH activity in cancer biology, particularly in osteosarcoma, metastasis, and the tumor microenvironment
- NOTCH-mediated regulation of stem cells, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine approaches
- Innovations in high-throughput technologies, biomaterials, and in vitro/in vivo modeling to interrogate NOTCH function
- Genome-informed targeted therapies and drug development strategies that modulate NOTCH signaling
- Immunological and toxicological dimensions of NOTCH signaling in human health and disease
- Research that bridges basic science with clinical insight

Licensing Policy
Licensing
Articles in this community are published under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
Others may copy, distribute, remix, and build upon the work — including for commercial purposes — provided they give appropriate credit to the original authors.
Submission Guidelines
Guidelines
Submissions are always open! Register at www.sciencebank.com to submit.
We welcome diverse article types and encourage submissions of null, negative, and contradictory results, as well as replication studies.
Our community adheres to the ScienceBank's editorial policies. To submit your work for editorial consideration, make sure you comply with its Author Guidelines. There you will find all of the needed information related to supported article types, document formatting, submission checklists, etc.
Additionally, please get familiar with the general policies before submitting:
- Authorship policy
- Disclosure of Funding Sources policy
- Competing Interests policy
- Copyright policy
- Data and Material Availability policy
- Software and Code Sharing policy
- Policy for reporting research with animals and with humans
- Ethics policy
- Post-publication procedures
Multilingual submissions and peer review
Currently, our editorial pool is open to receive articles in English.
If you want to submit in a different language, please contact us at edops@sciencebank.com with your proposal to assess if we have the capacity to evaluate your paper.
Publishing fees
This community publishes fully open access, and authors keep their copyright under an open licence. Fees depend on Society membership:
- Society members publish with no article processing charge (APC).
- Non-members pay a flat, transparent fee of 1,000 USD to publish. [Charged at submission and refunded if the article is not published.]
- Waivers are available on request under ScienceBank's Fees and Payment policy, including for researchers from low- and middle-income countries.
For questions about fees, membership or waivers, contact edops@sciencebank.com. To understand what the publishing fees cover and all the benefits of publishing at ScienceBank, please refer to the "Publishing fees" section in the Fees and Payment policy.
Type of peer review
Our community offers a single-blind review system, which means:
- Authors’ and institute’s names are visible to reviewers and editors during peer review
- Reviewers’ and editor’s names and their institutes are anonymized throughout the peer-review process but made visible upon publication or rejection
- Reviewers' names and institutes are anonymized to each other during the peer review process
- For accepted articles, names of the editors and reviewers will be visible alongside the final article
Peer review process
- Pre-screening: All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the ScienceBank team to ensure policy compliance with our policies, originality (using the software of Similarity Check), and the overall quality.
- Pre-acceptance: If a manuscript passes the initial screening, an editor from our community will evaluate whether it has the enough amount and quality of information (according to article's needs and the field standard) to proceed to peer review. In the case of potential conflicts of interests with our current editors and the authors, ScienceBank will suggest an appropriate editor from another community.
- Peer review: After pre-acceptance, two external reviewers are invited to evaluate the manuscript and provide constructive feedback aimed at improving it. Editors will then scope reviewers' comments to offer authors clear guidance on the revisions needed for resubmission.
