Transparency in Funding Source Disclosure

The corresponding Author is required to disclose the sources of support all Authors have received to facilitate their research. The act of disclosing funding sources serves to provide transparency within the research process.

Funding Statement

In the submission process, Authors will be required to declare the source of funding within the ‘Disclosure of Funding’ section. The Funding Statement is incorporated into the metadata of each article that is published on ScienceBank. Corrections may be required if post-publication scrutiny unveils any inaccuracies about funding details.

What to Disclose

Authors are obligated to detail all funding they obtained to complete work that underpins the submitted manuscript. 

In the funding disclosure section, Authors must provide the names of granting agencies and institutes that have provided the funding. Each entry must include the role assumed by each funding body, including a statement declaring if they played no substantive role in the works.

Failure to Disclose Funding Sources

ScienceBank reserves the right to withdraw or remove manuscripts from publication if Authors fail to accurately disclose their source of funding.
